DESCRIPTION:AKF is delighted to be joining the Roundtable Session, Mobilising demand-driven evidence in LMICs to improve policy and policy implementation in a digital society: learning across major global initiatives on Wednesday, March 26th at the Comparative International Education Society (CIES) Conference in Chicago. The CIES 2025 Annual Conference will focus on Envisioning Education in a Digital Society.\n\nBronwen Magrath, Schools2030 Global Programme Manager will be sharing learning from the Schools2030 programme alongside colleagues from GPE-KIX, FCDO What Works Hub, and AUF Apprendre. Together, we will discuss knowledge production, mobilisation and use in global education policy and practice – and how we can ensure that evidence is demand-driven, closely linked to policy-making processes across countries, and how involving knowledge users in co-creating research can strengthen the use of evidence in national education policy and practice. We will also explore how digital tools and technologies are being leveraged within and across these global initiatives and some of the promises and limitations of ICT in education research and evidence.
