After learning that students at Hassan Joho Girls’ School in Kenya had a negative mindset towards mathematics, teachers as part of the Schools2030 Design team in Mombasa Country, decided to transform the teaching and learning of numeracy using Human-Centred Design. By conducting interviews with various stakeholders, they came up with innovative solutions such as using visual aids in numbers and peer teaching.
