Schools2030 Global Forum 2024

The Schools2030 global community and the Aga Khan Foundation, alongside our partners at the Ministry of Education and Science for the Kyrgyz Republic, are excited to officially announce the dates for our third annual Schools2030 Global Forum.

This year, we will convene 200 education system stakeholders from around the world to address the critical topic of climate and education, under the guiding theme:

Teacher Leadership for Climate Resilience: How to Transform Learning through School and System Pathways for the Future of the Planet

We are pleased to once again welcome a cross-section of education stakeholders – including teachers, school leaders, youth, civil society, international organisations, funders and government partners – to offer diverse perspectives on this pressing theme. Over the course of the three days, we will explore how Schools2030’s model for driving impact through school-led innovation can work to strengthen our collective educational response to the climate emergency. As in previous years, each day will focus on how we might build climate resilience across three key areas:

Holistic learning outcomes
Quality learning environments
Strengthened learning systems

Alongside the Schools2030 teams and our leading partners in education, we welcome our delegates to share best practices, tackle challenging questions and work together to address the most pressing need of all – the very future of our planet. The Schools2030 Global Forum will also mark the launch of Schools2030’s strategic Phase II of its 10-year programme to continue strengthening school to system pathways for advancing teacher leadership for quality learning, as well as the 100-year anniversary of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Education and Science.
