Alfred Sigo works with the Pwani Youth Network on the Kenyan Coast. His innovation, Be the Change – culturally sensitive micro-libraries where children from other sides of the planet can learn about each other’s worlds – is something he has been exploring through Schools2030. He even presented this idea at the Schools2030 Global Forum in Porto in 2023 to demonstrate how we might create more inclusive learning spaces for children both in and out of formal schooling. Here is his story.

“I strongly believe that no matter where you come from, your dream is valid.”

Alfred Sigo, Director, Pwani Youth Network, Kenya
