Understanding Learning Differences Across Schools2030 Contexts

Time

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
A Schools2030 Webinar

Inspired by our partnership with Oak Foundation’s Learning Difference Programme, Schools2030 decided to conduct research over the course of 2022 to better understand learning differences in global contexts. Given the sparse evidence available on learning differences and the general low level of awareness of specific learning disabilities in Schools2030 programme countries, we sought to understand how learning differences are conceptualised, understood and supported at the school level in policy and practice in each geographical context.

The resulting report documents the policy and practice landscape related to inclusive education and learning differences across nine of our programme countries and is informed by a literature review as well as qualitative insights gathered through focus groups, questionnaires and interviews that were conducted with Schools2030 programme staff, assessment partners and teachers.

Join us on Thursday 27th April from 1-2pm BST for a rich conversation on how to advance practical support for learning differences. We will share insights from the report and discuss the recommendations this research offers for the education sector.
